“To create a healthy Kodiak where distance, transportation, and other life circumstances don’t prevent individuals from receiving timely, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care.”

What is a mobile health unit?

Our mobile health unit is a van that brings medical care directly to you, sort of like a mobile exam room. It is available across Kodiak on a regular weekday schedule as well as at some community events.

Mobile Health Services

The full list of services offered on the mobile health unit will be published here once it is finalized. Check back soon, or call (907) 481-5000 or email mobile@kodiakchc.org with questions.

Mobile Health Unit Schedule

Locations, dates, and hours are being finalized and will be posted here. Mobile unit visits will also appear on our Events Calendar.

Paying for care

No one will be denied access to services at KCHC due to an inability to pay. Our Sliding Fee Discount Program offers discounted care based on household income and size, and applies to care received on the mobile health unit just like care at the clinic.
